Cursive Writing Workshop organised for Parents 17-09-2019
Bad Handwriting should be considered a sign of imperfect education. – Mahatma Gandhiji Handwriting is becoming a lost art in today’s digital age. However, handwriting is the mirror of the person’s personality and character. With an intention of holistic development of children, a Cursive Writing Workshop was organised at Noel School, Akola exclusively for parents in order to explain the nuances of cursive writing to parents who in turn will be able to guide their children in an equipped manner. The staff members of the Kindergarten Section, Mrs. Soniya Tilkari, Mrs. Archana Deshmukh, Mrs. Rashmi Thakur, Mr. Amolraj Shinde, Mrs. Sangita Sukede, the Coordinator worked hard for the successful execution of the planned event. The parents enjoyed the workshop as they got a chance to come to school not as parents but obedient students after a long time. They came prepared with the necessary tools and responded well learning cursive successfully. The parents were explained the importance of four line book and writing in it in a systematic way. The correct method of writing cursive letters was also elucidated here. About 100 parents were present for this workshop. The event ended with a vote of thanks by the Principal, Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam.
